Westwood Graduation and Promotion

promotionAs Westwood continues to grow, strong traditions remain. One of the most important events of the school year is the Graduation and Promotion Ceremony, where not only are the graduates recognized, but students are promoted into the Westwood Lower Elementary, Upper Elementary, and Middle School programs. Students receiving their Duke of Edinburgh Awards and International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program Certificates are also honored

The end of the 2011-2012 school year brought a new beginning for our six graduates in a ceremony held at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. The Senior class each spoke during their graduation as they collectively gave the Commencement Speech. During this moving speech, Dayton Blankenship expressed, “although we will no longer be students after today, we will always consider the school our home
