Admissions Events

Attending an admissions event is the best way to truly experience what sets The Westwood School apart. Whether you join us for an Open House or schedule a private tour, each opportunity offers a unique window into our vibrant community.

Every visit includes time with our Director of Admissions, who will guide you through our programs and answer your questions as you explore whether Westwood is the right fit for your family.

Admissions Coffees

For families wanting to explore Westwood’s offerings for their child’s level, we invite you to join us for one of our Admissions Coffees.  You’ll hear more about our curriculum directly from our administrators and teachers, and Upper School coffees will listen to a Student Ambassador Q&A panel.  We’ll finish our time together with a brief overview of the admissions process and a campus tour.

Upper School (7th-12th Grade): Tuesday, April 7, 2026 | 8:30-10am
Elementary (1st-6th Grade): Wednesday, April 8, 2026 | 8:30-10am
Toddler & Primary (12 months – Kinder): Thursday, April 9, 2026 | 8:30-10am

Schedule a Private Tour

Private tours provide a more intimate, “fly on the wall” experience—allowing you to observe students in action during their daily work cycle and see the Westwood Way unfold in real time.

To schedule a Private Tour, please complete an online inquiry. Once your inquiry is processed, you’ll be invited to login to your Admissions Portal. In the Admissions Progress Checklist, you can see tour availability and self-schedule a time that works for your family (Toddler – 6th grade tours are parent only; 7th – 11th grade tours are parent and student).

Open House

During an Open House, families can step inside classrooms, explore our learning environments, and engage directly with teachers, student ambassadors, current parents, and administrators.

Sunday, September 28th | 1-3pm
Saturday, October 25th | 11am-1pm
Thursday, January 15th | 5:30-7pm

“I attended Westwood for many years and was a proud member of the high school. This school not only taught me math, science, English, etc. it also taught me to be the independent person I am today. The community that this school provides not only for the students but also for the parents and alumni is outstanding. I continue to come back and volunteer to give back to such an amazing place. I not only got into my first choice college, I also got college credit for a course I took at Westwood. I owe all my success to the great staff and encouraging teachers.”
